When Katy Perry isn’t calling groups of women flirting with her rapper boyfriend, Travic McCoy, “whores” and telling them “to piss off,” she dreams of an alternative line of work fronting an antiques show.

The I Kissed a Girl star recently revealed her fascination of old artifacts, citing that much of it has to do with her mother once working as an antiques dealer in London and waking up every Saturday morning with her dad to go look for stuff.

Admitting to love shopping at second-hand stores similar to model, Coco Rocha. Perry is quoted saying, “Any girl knows there is no better feeling than getting a great bargain. I love it! It’s the thrill, the chase and the chance to get something great. So many people have no idea what it is they are just giving away.”

“I’ll put the hair under a cap and put on a pair of sunglasses and rarely get noticed when I am on the searches. I am like a pirate or a scavenger ready to swoop when I see something worthwhile.”

Furthermore, Perry would definitely consider a career change if given the opportunity: “I wish they had asked me to host (U.K television show) Antiques Roadshow when Michael Aspel left. It would be my dream job.”
