We never get tired of posting a good tribute to Hayao Miyazaki’s creations. There really is no better parallel than to call him and his Studio Ghibli the Disney of Japan.

French artist, Louise Terrier must share our affinity for the Japanese cartoonist because the painter has been working for the last few years on an ever expanding set of watercolor paintings that pay tribute to Miyazaki’s works like Totoro, Laputa Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. We’ve picked some of our favorites to share with you.
