It’s been a busy day and we are well behind, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t make sure that you all got a chance to see this one. The first trailer is out for ‘Blade Runner 2049’, the long awaited sequel to the sci-fi classic that will not only bring back Harrison Ford, but will also feature Ryan Gosling.
While really not much more than a teaser to a trailer, the video that was released earlier today establishes the same tone and stunning cinematography that made the original such a classic. The trailer also gives us a release date of 10/06/17, making next year one of the most anticipated movie years in a long, long time.
The film also stars Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
