Last week we were all witness to the dumpster fire that is more formally known as Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott’s “I’m Not Afraid.” Now, four Japanese female comedians, have stepped in to undo their damage.

The comediennes, Tomochika, Oniyakko Tsubaki, Naomi Watanabe, and Shizuyo Yamasaki did something that never occurred to Fallout Boy. they just remade the original song. That’s really all you have to do. Remake it or make something else. Don’t cannibalize it an an attempt to make something cool that’s already been cool for 30 years.

Is the song a little outdated? Sure, but these comics are a delight. Watching them makes me happy and gets me excited about Ghostbusters because it feels like they love it. That’s not something the new song or the new trailers have been able to get out of me.

Meanwhile, the new Ghostbusters film opens on July 15th, with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Chris Hemsworth.
