ABC is set to promote their remake of the popular 80s alien invasion series by tagging the sky with V’s.

Starting Friday, the network will be using skywriters to create giant V’s across the sky at twenty six undisclosed landmarks. Although it’s being reported that likely locations include: the Statue of Liberty in New York and Hollywood’s iconic Capitol Records building.

The skywriting will be done more than once a day at each landmark leading up to the series premiere on November 3 at 8 PM.

ABC is heavily promoting this long awaited series. However, “V” is expected to go on hiatus after four episodes due to interruptions by the Winter Olympics.

“V” Synopses from wiki:
Giant spaceships appear over all major cities of the world, and Anna, the beautiful and charismatic leader of the extra-terrestrial “Visitors,” claims to come in peace. As a small number of humans begin to doubt the sincerity of the seemingly benevolent Visitors, FBI counter-terrorism agent[4] Erica Evans discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments and businesses, and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the planet. Erica joins the resistance movement, which includes Ryan, a Visitor sleeper agent who wants to save humanity. However, the aliens have won favor among the people of Earth by curing a variety of diseases, and have recruited Earth’s youth — including Erica’s son — to serve them unknowingly as spies.

“V” will also see the return of Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk who costarred in the failed Joss Whedon sci-fi series “Firefly” that gained a cult following.
