Hot off the heels of filming “Green Lantern” in New Orleans, it seems as if Warner Bros. has found a new hot spot (no pun intended) for their films. WB will begin shooting Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film in New Orleans beginning April, 2011.
It’s unlikely that the entire film will be shot in New Orleans however, considering the two previous films were shot at Chicago to give it a make shift Gotham City backdrop. And what is Batman without Gotham, right?
Not much else is known about the third installment of Nolan’s Batman film, but new news is better than no news. Fans can expect “Batman 3” to drop July 20th 2012, a date WB has already confirmed and set.
