BBC Releases The Prelude To The ‘Doctor Who Christmas Special’

Christmas is a double holiday for Whovians. First we get our gifts and then we get the Doctor Who Holiday Special. Over the last couple of years, the Christmas special has taken us from the Titanic to a Christmas Carol and, this year, to a Galifrayan take on ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.”

As a little treat to keep our excitement up, The BBC has released a short prelude video to let us know what events lead up to the special. Check it out below.

Here’s the official synopsis:
Evacuated to a house in Dorset from war-torn London, Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, are greeted by a madcap caretaker whose mysterious Christmas gift leads them into a magical wintry world…
