Variety is reporting that Nascar is getting started on a direct to DVD animated movie called: “Nascar: The Secret Life of Cars.” The film is slated to ship in late 2011, thus giving us one more thing to make us pray for the oncoming end of the world at the end of 2012.
The film will detail what happens in a Nascar garage when the humans have left and the cars come to life.
So… its like Toy Story… or… Cars!
Nascar officials have essentially admitted that the decision to make this movie is a money grab based on the long term merchandising success of Disney/ Pixar’s Cars. Well, at least they are being honest.
