Ben Mendelsohn is currently soaking in mostly great reviews for his role of Director Orson Krennic, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it looks like the actor may already be heading back in time to play the Sherrif of Nottingham in the upcoming ‘Robin Hood: Origins’ that’s already set Taron Egerton (Kingsman) as Robin Hood. They aren’t the only great actors set to star in the film either. Jamie Foxx has been set as Little John, Eve Hewson is Maid Marian, and Jamie Dornan‘s Will Scarlett.
Currently we know nothing of the story, other than it is being touted as a gritty re-imagining of the Robin Hood story. I’m not sure how anyone will ever make a film grittier than Men in Tights, so it should be interesting.
