As excited as fans are getting about Avengers: Infinity War and the Avengers 4, there is equal excitement building for Captain Marvel and the oncoming Skrull Invasion. However, the film doesn’t actually have a script as of yet, and the originally hired writers, Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve were just too busy on other projects to get the job done. In their place, Marvel has now brought in Geneva Robertson-Dworet to tackle the job. Robertson-Dworet has found a niche in bringing powerful women to the screen with her script for the Tomb Raider reboot getting ready to hit theaters and David Ayer circling her DCEU script for Gotham City Sirens.

It will be interesting to see if she actually has the time herself, as she’s also been hired to write a script for Sherlock Holmes 3 and the live action reboot of the Hasbro cartoon and Toy Line, M.A.S.K.

One thing is for sure, if Robertson-Dworet is going to get this done, she’s going to have to hustle if Marvel still plans on hitting their March 8, 2019 release date.
