Chris Cooper Cast As Norman Osborn in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Yesterday, we showed off the first pic of [1] Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, today we’ve got some big casting news by way of Variety.

They are reporting that Chris Cooper has signed on to play Norman Osborne.

There’s no word on if Cooper will be taking up the mantle of the Green Goblin, but it would make sense. After, Gwen has to die eventually, right?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens on May 2, 2014.
