Doc Savage is one of those comic book movies that’s been sitting on the sideline, waiting to get made for a little while now. It’s seemingly a passion project for Shane Black, who has just signed on to breathe new life into the Predator Franchise with a new reboot. It could be that part of the deal will entail him getting the extra studio funding to finally get Savage made.
Now the question is… who is Doc Savage. Well, based on some reports, Chris Hemsworth has already met with 20th Century Fox about the role. This would be his second franchise character if he takes it, and that could cause scheduling friction with the ever-expanding Marvel film universe.
