Sean Hood has been hired to rewrite the screenplay for “Conan,” despite the fact that shooting for it has gone underway.

Marcus Nispel’s upcoming adaptation of the barbarian hero will have some changes but it’s unclear why the script is being reworked. Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer wrote the original script. Moreover it’s also unclear how far the script is and that should make anyone nervous with filming set to commence on March 15th.

Conan who was once portrayed by Arnold Schqarzenegger in the 1980s will get younger in this reboot that stars “Stargate: Atlantis” actor Jason Moma. Moma will join Mickey Rourke who’s currently in the talks to star as Conan’s father.

News also broke this morning that Mixed Martial Artist Bob Sapp will play Ukafa, one of the film’s central villains.
