The Last time I saw Elisabeth Shue was in “Hamlet 2” where she played herself as a nurse who had given up on Hollywood. The self-spoofing role was tongue in cheek, but to many who’d been wondering where she’d gone for several years, it rang true.
Well, she’s back and she’s got top billing in Dimension’s new horror flick, “Piranha 3D.”
Shue plays the town sheriff trying to save the lake and her family from being devoured by the sharp-toothed fish. Adam Scott will star as a diver for the U.S. Geological Service who helps discover the piranha outbreak.
