Fan Theories abound for Avengers 4. Is it called Avengers Assembled, Avengers Anhiallation, or The Last Avenger? Will it feature the Anhillus wave? Who lives? Who Dies? For every question, there’s a dozen supposed leaks and theories. The reality is that we probably won’t (and hopefully won’t) know what happens until the film hits theaters in May of 2019. In the meantime, we will take whatever crumbs the cast of the film throws out to us in interviews and convention panels.

This past weekend, at ACE, the Marvel panel featured several cast members from the Avengers franchise including Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Tom Hiddleston (both of whom will be getting their own series on the upcoming Marvel Streaming network). While talking about the upcoming Avengers 4, Olsen had this to say about the plight of her teammates.

“It’s only going to get worse.”

In response, one fan asked if she was referring to the future as seen in the vision she put in Iron Man’s mind during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Here’s what she had to say:

“I don’t know. I don’t know if that’s what could have happened if Ultron took over. I’m not sure. I think it’s up to interpretation. It wasn’t something that I remember someone was saying that we’re going to go full circle to Infinity War — there wasn’t an Infinity War at that time [laughs]. But I think I always thought of it being what would happen if Ultron won. But I think it’s more interesting the way you’re thinking about it.”
