There’s been a dry spell since last June for any new footage to M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender” live-action adaptation until now. Sure we got our first look at the new character posters last week, but that just isn’t the same. Courtesy of the newly relaunched UGO who got the exclusive first look at the upcoming Superbowl spot, we have our first look at the new teaser for the original “Avatar.”
Despite all the early criticisms and mixed test screenings, I have to say, the spot looks good. We get our first look at all the different element bending and a jacked up Aang (Noah Ringer) going into his Avatar state.
M. Night’s “The Last Airbender” is set to hit theater this July 2, 2010.
