It sounds like this could be a live action version of the great animated movie, “Hoodwinked,” but no, this is no comedy. NBC is creating a TV series about a policeman in a town where Fairy Tales are a reality. Taking the lead role as the cop, Nick, is David Giuntoli. He’s probably best known for his role on MTV’s “Turn the Beat Around.”

Is there anything that makes me think this show won’t suck? Actually yes. David Greenwalt is involved. This man has had his hands all over a good number of my favorite TV shows. he was a major part of both “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel.” He was also involved with “Eureka” and “In Plain Sight.” If there is good in this show. he’ll be the one to find it.
