You’ve seen what we’ve been writing about the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. my take on it has been skeptical to say the least, but that isn’t to say I’m not rooting for it. We can only have so many box office flops in a row before the studios fall out of love with comic books movies. We are still getting over Fantastic Four and if this movie crashes, it would be a massive blow. My issues have come from the trailers, because that’s all I’ve seen so far. The second one did a lot to redeem the film, but there was so much damage from that firs trailer that it gives me major pause. That and I’m just not a fan of Snyder. To me, he feels like someone who grew up wanting to be a cooler version of Michael Bay.

With all that said, I’m rooting for the film. I’ll be seeing it Friday morning and hoping that he’s pulled it off and launched a universe that will be interesting and entertaining enough for get me pumped for the next 5 or 6 films. So far, fan reaction seems to have people feeling like it has.
