We showed off the first official image of Papa Smurf earlier today. If you’re still stoked over that, then you really need to get with the now. Because Sony Pictures Animation has just released the first teaser for their upcoming live-action “Smurfs” featured film.
The teaser doesn’t show much initially, just a lot of text and voice over hyping something awesome. But then the tone of the narration changes and NYC becomes Smurf’d. We then get to see Papa Smurf and a few other Smurfs trying to “catch” a cab. The teaser ends promptly with the updated yet familiar Smurf theme jingle.
