This might be more of a tease than a treat for US readers. It seems that Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement’s ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ has spawned more than just the upcoming TV series that is heading to FX. There is also an entirely different spin-off that has been produced for New Zealand TV. This one is called Wellington Paranormal and it will follow the police officers from the film as they tackle the paranormal problems of Wellington, NZ.
While there is currently no US distributor for the series, you can bet that Netflix will probably Jump on it as their distribution of What We Do In The Shadows has already helped spread the popularity well beyond its initial cult status.
