Here is the first trailer for MTV and Craig Brewer’s (Hustle & Flow) completely unnecessary semi modern remake of the Kevin Bacon classic “Footloose.” The film stars newcomers Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough.
Similar to the original, the remake follows Ren McCormack (Wormald) who moves from Boston to small town Bomont where dancing has been legalized after a post-dance car crash claimed the lives of five local teens. But like most rebellious teens, they just want to dance. So Ren, with the help of local girl Ariel (Julianne), decide to go again the rule and take on Ariel’s preacher father in the process.
