We reported that a two-hour Smallville JSA was in the works last November, and now the trailer has finally debuted. Originally planned to be two regular episodes, WB has decided to release it as a full featured film. The episode is written by Geoff Johns and will feature several JSA heroes such as Hawkman (Michael Shanks), Doctor Fate (Brent Stait) Stargirl (Britt Irvin), Martian Manhunter (Phil Morris) and Inza Nelson (Erica Carroll).
The synopsis is as followed:
Clark, John Jones, Green Arrow and Chloe team up to help the Justice Society of America stop a killer before he murders another member of the retired superhero group. Lois receives a package from an agency called Checkmate, which is run by Amanda Waller.
The two-hour Smallville Absolute Justice airs Friday, Feb. 5th.
