20th Century Fox TV has teamed up with film divisions to produce a “Glee” featured film titled “Glee Live! 3D!,” which will be based on the live concert.
The film will feature the original cast that includes: Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss and Ashley Fink.
If history is of any indication of how successful “Glee Live! 3D!” will be, one only has to turn and look similar films such as the Michael Jackson film, “This Is It,” “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience,” and the most recent smash hit Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never.”
Directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame, Mortal Kombat: Legacy), “Glee Live! 3D!” will feature some behind the scenes moments and have a two week engagement starting on August 12th.
