Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Fox and Trouble Maker Studios are developing a reboot of Predator. Robert Rodriquez, who heads Trouble Maker will produce. It hasn’t been made clear if he’ll also direct.
Here’s what he had to say about the project:
“In the reboot a team of commandos face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters.”
This is a much different idea than the original film from the 80’s/ the idea of turning it into a fill war between mini armies could make for a pretty spectacular film. However, with 12 other projects on tap, let’s not just hold our breath yet on if Rodriguez has the time to make it.
