When we lost Harold Ramis I was perfectly happy to put the idea of a third Ghostbusters film away. Bill Murray was doing everything he could to not be involved in it, and the idea of bringing in Aziz Ansari just made me sad. Now, it’s been confirmed that a new film is on the way with Director Paul Feig Behind the camera. Katie Dippold has been brought in to write a new script and the story will be based around an all-female team of Ghostbusters.
I’m curious to see how it’s going to get done. I can guess that Melissa Mcarthy will probably be in there as an even sloppier version of Ray. I’m not sure what they’ll do with the rest of the cast.
I just really don’t see the point.
