We’ve posted a couple of trailer for Guardians, the first big budget super hero movie from Russia, over the last year, and it’s looked pretty good so far. Sure, the special effects are closer to what we have on TV in the US, but this looks like a fun and original, regional take on the genre. Today, we are getting a double trailer for the film, in English. I’m not sure if that means we’ll be getting a US release in theaters, but I’d definitely plunk down a few bucks to check this out on the big screen.
If there was one thing I didn’t like about the trailer, it’s the voice overs. I’d much rather watch this movie for the first time with the voices of the original actors and read a few subtitles.
