Last week we learned about Michael K. Williams getting edited out of the upcoming Han Solo Star Wars film because he wasn’t available for re-shoots under new director, Ron Howard. Today, we are learning that the reshoots are extensive enough that at least one new character is actually being added to the film. The announcement comes directly from Howard, via Twitter.
We have no idea who or what kind of character Bettany will be playing or whether we’ll be seeing him in a new role or as a character from existing canon. Only time will tell.
