Actor Hugh Jackman recently commented on Darren Aronofsky’s departure from “The Wolverine” and reassures fans that “The Wolverine” is still moving forward.

You’d think that news couldn’t have gotten worse for “The Wolverine” after the tragic earthquake that devastated Japan, where the film was suppose to be filmed, to the departure of the Darren Aronofsky. But an optimistic Jackman confirms that things have stalled but not stopped.

Here’s what Jackman had to say about the current development of “The Wolverine”:
“So now we’re out looking for a director. We were pretty much ready to go. The script is fantastic — the best we’ve ever had, which is why it attracted Darren in the first place. His personal situation precludes him from doing it now, and I feel for him. But now we need to find a director.”

“We’re not going to settle. We’re going to find a director as good as Darren, if not better. Well, as good. Everyone is still pushing forward to getting it done.”

“I can’t be eating too many more chicken breasts!”
