E! News is reporting that Philip Seymour Hoffman is set to join the cast of the Hunger Games Sequel, Catching Fire in the role of Plutarch Heavensbee. The deal was cut right before the 4th of July, but has not been made “Official” yet.
For those of you who have not read the book, here is what E! has to say about the character:
Heavensbee is the new Head Gamemaker who may (or may not) be more loyal to reigning champ Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) than the diabolical President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
Catching fire will begin filming sometime this fall.
