Sony is still reeling from the disastrous reviews and box office receipts for Amazing Spider-Man 2. If we’re lucky, it may even drive them into bed with Marvel Studios, allowing Spidey to be part of the Civil War and Infinity War. Right now, they are scrambling to come up with a movie from the franchise that isn’t a complete waste… Sadly, it is now being rumored that what they came up with is a movie about Aunt May.
The story would focus on the period of Aunt May’s life that no one really cares about, the time before she started raising Peter. It would put her into some sort of espionage story, in the same vein as Agent Carter.
