James Gunn loves raccoons, which made working on a character like Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy an even more special event for the director. In fact, he even befriended a raccoon on set who was used as a reference point for a lot of Rocket’s design and action.
The new featurette that’s just been released to promote the Blu-Ray release of Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy not only shows off his relationship with the raccoon, but it also show how involved Gunn was in helping animators nail down some of the animations for characters like Groot.
