Japan’s “Supernatural: The Animation” based on the US “Supernatural” TV series seems to be on schedule for its January 2011 release date. Here’s a really quick teaser trailer highlighting MADHOUSE’s upcoming 22-episode “Supernatural” anime.
While I don’t know much the premise of the show or whether it’ll follow the TV series. What I do know is that both Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) Winchester will reprise their role and provice voice over work to the anime adaptation.
The first “Supernatural: The Animation” Blu-ray/DVD is expected to hit Japan in a two box set on January 12 and April 6, 2011. Expect them to hit state side later in the year. In the meantime, check out the teaser!
