Scooby Doo and the gang have been getting more and more popular again. They even had a big panel at Comic Con with the band KISS. Now it has just been announced that the animated version of the characters will be heading back to the big screen. This will be the first time we’ve seen the Mystery Machine on the big screen in any form since 2004.

Directing the film will be Tony Cervone, who just directed the Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery direct to DVD movie. Joining as producers will be Charles Roven and Richard Suckle who produced the live action Scooby films. Making sure they don’t screw up is Allison Abbate, who has worked on films likes Space Jam, The Iron Giant, and The LEGO Movie.

I hope they don’t change the voices. I really like Matthew Lillard as Shaggy and Natalie from Facts of Life as Velma.
