Justice League Theme Song - Junkie XL vs Danny Elfman

After listening to the soundtrack behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a lot of fans were excited to hear that Junkie XL had been replaced on the Justice League film by Danny Elfman when Joss Whedon took over for Zack Snyder. Now that the film is out to better than expected fan feedback and worse than expected box office numbers, it’s a good time to compare the two and see who did it best.

First up, here’s Junkie XL’s unused theme from the film:

Now, here’s Danny Elfman’s Hero Theme from Justice League:

Now that you’ve heard them both. Which do you think would have been better to hear in the theaters? Do you think Elfman’s score made a significant difference in the film or do you think that Junkie XL’s music was more suited to the task?
