There’s been a lot of announcements about CW shows in the last couple days, and all of them have been very exciting for fans of Arrow and the upcoming spin-off, The Flash. The latest announcement out today is that Kelly Frye has been cast in the role of Plastique for Flash.
The plan is to introduce her in episode five, but not as a villain… at least not at first. Here’s how they describe the character:
“A bomb disposal expert in Iraq who, following exposure to the energy released by the S.T.A.R. Labs meltdown, Bette now has the ability to turn any object she touches into an explosive device. On the run from the shadow forces in the U.S. government trying to turn her into a human weapon, she finds an ally in fellow meta-human The Flash.
