It’s getting to the point where I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney announced a live action reboot of Tail Spin or Rescue Rangers. Oddly, I think I might be more willing to back one of those projects than another of their classic properties which seems to have found itself on some sort of check list labeled “Milk till dry.”

Yes, the silly old bear is making his way to the live action table, in what sounds almost like a knock off of Hook. and now we know that he’ll be doing it under the direction of Mark Forster.

Don’t believe me, check out the description of the story from THR:

“The story centers on Robin, the adult version of the boy who in the A.A. Milne books shares his adventures with the animals of the Hundred Acre Wood. Robin has grown out of the joyful imagination he had as a young boy and is now a businessman who prioritizes work over his wife and daughter. With his home life on the brink, the last thing his life needs is the return of Pooh, who needs his help in finding his friends again. Robin has to find a way to help both sides or risk losing everything he holds dear.”

Forster comes to the project after a slew of family films that include: Quantum of Solace, Monster’s Ball, and World War Z.
