From the mind of M. Night Shyamalan comes a new kind of horror film in “Devil.” Universal Pictures has just released the first trailer for Shyamalan’s upcoming horror film “Devil,” which he did not direct or write.

I’ll admit, with his recent track record, I’m highly skeptical of all things Shyamalan, but this trailer actually looks good. It’s more of a supernatural thriller than a horror film and it follows a group of strangers who are trapped in an elevator where one of them happens to be the devil.
“Devil” stars Chris Messina, Bojana Novakovic, Bokeem Woodbine, Geoffrey Arendand Caroline Dhavernas.

“Devil” drops September 17th 2010 and is directed by Dowdle Bros (Quarantine) and written by Brian Nelson.

  1. Great… Let’s see if he can screw up his own ideas as bad as he’s screwed up everything else he touches…. Is there a version of the midas touch where instead of everything turning to gold, it just turns into a steaming pile of fail?

Sixth sense and unbreakable were good movies, but I’d gladly give them back to abort everything else this man has squeezed out onto the screen…

Let’s face it. Dude peaked with Stuart Little.
