During an appearance of the Rachael Ray Show last week, “Mad Men” bombshell Christina Hendricks was asked about the rumors of her possibly playing Wonder Woman.
“I just heard that rumor, too,” Hendricks had said. “I don’t know where it got started, but I love it.”
“I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life,” she added. “I had Underoos — I had Wonder Woman Underoos.”
Hendricks who is no stranger to the geekier side of things, will also be lending her voice talents in the upcoming “All-Star Superman” animated movie as Lois Lane. But she has her eyes on the prize and is interested in adding more comic book characters to her name through Wonder Woman.
“Oh, I’d love to,” she said when asked about her interest in playing Wonder Woman. “That would be so much fun.”
While I don’t think she’s the ideal Wonder Woman considering her look and age, if she wants to be Wonder Woman, I say let her. Who’d say no to her, ammirite?
