Agent Carter turned out to be a pretty spectacular show, and I can’t wait to see it return in 2016. Now, we know who she’ll be going up against in the new season. It was previously announced that she’ll be heading to Hollywood for this new story, but it was just announced that her main adversary will be Madame Masque.
Interestingly, Madame Masque is big in the the Iron Man universe as Stark’s sometimes lover, sometimes enemy. This version might put her on the same path with his father.
Here’s what Agent Carter showrunners Tara Butters and Chris had to say:
” I think we’ve changed the look of her a bit obviously. We’ve made her an actress, which is very Hedy Lamar. She was a ‘40s siren actress who was also a scientific genius, so that’s part of what we’re mining with this character.”
The role has already been cast, but Marvel is going to keep that news a secret for now.
