The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, the new Disney movie starring Nicolas Cage that I still can’t figure out why they are making it has just added a little bit more star power to their line up. Monica Bellucci will be joining the cast as the long lost love of Cage according to a report from variety.
She will play Veronica, a sorceress and the long-lost love of Nicolas Cage’s character, Balthazar Blake.
Pic, which revolves around a sorcerer who recruits and trains a young protege to help him fight the forces of darkness in modern-day Manhattan, is shooting in New York City with Jon Turteltaub at the helm.
In case you don’t quite remember who she is by name, chances are that you spent a decent amount of time drooling over her in the second and third Matrix movies.
