It’s that time of the year again when shows are either axed or renewed. This time on the chopping floor is NBC’s latest medical drama “Trauma.”

With the early departure of “Trauma,” NBC has ordered additional episodes for “Chuck.” Giving it a total of nineteen episodes with a thirteen episode renewal. This additional episode order bring great news to the geeky show going on in its third season. Not only does it show a stronger commitment from NBC to keep the show alive, but it also hints that the network may even consider bringing the series back earlier than originally anticipated.

“Chuck” which has been ratings challenging will need this momentum and fan support if it’s to ever live to see a fourth season.

It’s believed that “Chuck” could return to the NBC schedule as early as January as Word is that ‘Chuck’ could return to the NBC schedule as early as January. “Chuck” was not slated to return to air until March, after the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
