Bad Times at The El Royale looks like it is either going to be one of the best films of the year or one of the worst. It just doesn’t look like the kind of movie that will fall somewhere in the middle. It’s got an amazing cast by way of Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Cailee Spaeny, Lewis Pullman, Nick Offerman and Chris Hemsworth. It has a mysterious plot. It even has a cool and visually striking setting in the El Royal itself. If they can thread the needle and bring it all together, this is going to be a film that people talk about for years. If they can’t… we’ll forget about it by Halloween. Bad Times at the El Royale opens in theaters on October 12th.
