As things steam forward with Disney’s upcoming Streaming service, one of the shows that has fans most excited is the upcoming live-action Star Wars series from Iron Man/ Jungle Book director Jon Favreau. Today, new details emerged about the show, and if they are accurate, we are in for a hell of a treat.

First up, we are hearing that the show will be among the most expensive ever produced. The series is set to run for 10 episodes at a total cost of around $100 million. This puts it in second place next to the upcoming final season of Game of Thrones, which will cost $15 million for each of the six final episodes.

We are also learning that the show will be set on Mandalore, home of such classic Star Wars characters as Boba Fett (via his dad) and Sabine Wren. The biggest bit of news on the setting comes from MakingStarwars, who says that the story will be set against the backdrop of the fallen empire after the events of Return of The Jedi. Mandalore will find itself under great turmoil and it will focus on the restoration of their society and how it impacts the events of the galaxy around it.

Depending which source you listen to, the show may actually take place anywhere from 3-7 years after Return of the Jedi.
