If you weren’t already hyped about seeing Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water, the fact that it just won the top prize at the Venice Film Festival should at least get you mildly interested. Today we got a new trailer for the film about a mute woman and her romance with a fish man, and I’m more intrigued than ever. The new trailer lays out a little more of the plot as well as giving us a hint at some of the movie’s humor. Honestly, that isn’t something I was really expecting to see in the film, but will definitely welcome.

From master story teller, Guillermo del Toro, comes THE SHAPE OF WATER – an other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
