The new red band trailer for Michael Bay’s Pain and Gain is out and, for the first time in a pretty long while, I find myself looking forward to one of his movies. Maybe it is just because he isn’t ruining any of my childhood memories or maybe its because he’s got a solid story and great chemistry between the movie’s stars: Dwayne Johnson, Mark Whalberg, Rob Corddry, and Anthony Mackie.

Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. The film is based on magazine articles by Pete Collins, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and produced by Donald DeLine, Michael Bay and Ian Bryce.
