Universal Pictures has released a new “Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World” clip highlighting the romantic aspect of the Scott Pilgrim canon. You may remember previous clips that featured fire wielding swords, evil ex-boyfriends and power ups… well, this has none of that. Instead you’ll get a nice (if not repetitive) rhythmic edit of Scott and his love triangle between the clingy and obsessive Knives Chau, and the girl of Scott’s dreams, Ramona Flowers. Yup, it’s not all faux kung-fu, video games references and hipster pretentiousness.
Edgar Wright’s “Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World” lands in theaters on August 13, 2010.
