Matt Damon’s ‘Downsizing’ has looked interesting to me since the first trailer, but now that we are getting to see more of the story, you can see why they’ve put the movie up for a Christmas week release date. Unlike previous trailers that just focused on the actual shrinking aspect of the story, this new one shows us that the movie is really about a guy who had to get small before he could do something really big. It’s the perfect kind of holiday season, underdog story. If they execute well, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it up for some awards.
