The new trailer for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny looks better than the first trailer, but the follow up to the Ang Lee classic still looks more like an extended episode of AMC’s Badlands and less like the visual epic that preceded it.
That could be because it’s heading to Netflix and not the big screen. However, with the quality of programming that the streaming network has been putting out as of late, I’m not really sure you can use that as an excuse.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny tells an epic story of lost love, young love, a legendary sword and one last opportunity at redemption, set against breathtaking action in an epic martial arts battle between good and evil that will decide the fate of the Martial World.
