After the reviews of his latest Showtime series, Sacha Baron Cohen might be wishing that he hadn’t walked away from Bohemian Rhapsody when he did. Luckily, Mr. Robot star, Rami Malek was there to pick up the role of Freddie Mercury and carry it home through a notoriously troubled production that apparently included some throwing of chairs and the firing of director Bryan Singer with just a couple weeks to go until filming was complete.

We’ve seen one trailer before today for Bohemian Rhapsody, but now we are getting out first real look at the film and the actors who are playing Mercury and the other members of Queen. So far, it looks like a must-see for Queen fans. It’ll be interesting to see if Malek can ride the line between doing Mercury justice and becoming a caricature of him.
