With the recent announcement that The Good Place is coming to an end after season 4, it’s great to see that we’ve got more (non frozen 2 related) Kristen Bell content coming up. As previously announced, Hulu has been developing a new revival for the classic CW series Veronica Mars. The new season of the show is set to run for 8 episodes and will see Kristen Bell’s Veronica and her father (once again played by Enrico Colantoni) in the middle of an all-out class war in Neptune beach that includes murder and the occasional bombing.

Hulu has released a new Veronica Mars trailer. The upcoming Hulu series runs eight episodes and has Mars Investigations looking into a series of bombings that puts Veronica (Kristen Bell) and her father Keith () in the middle of a battle between Neptune’s wealthy elites who want to put an end to the spring break revelry and the working class that relies on the tourism dollars.

Hulu has set a premiere date of Friday, July 26th for all the episodes on the streaming network. Given the proximity to San Diego Comic-Con, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a screening at the convention.

Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the family of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.
